Our Publications

Our esteemed Director, Mr. Sunil Dhingra, has a profound vision for India’s sustainability. His insightful article, “GREEN ENERGY TRANSITION: Expanding the Use of Solid Biofuel as a Clean and Cost-Effective Solution,” is featured in Edition 3 of the PPAC Journal by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. This prestigious publication highlights the country’s energy transition, global leadership, and LIFE initiatives for a sustainable future.

The agriculture sector is rapidly transforming from solely a food producer to an emerging source of sustainable energy. With the growing focus on renewable energy, crop residues and agricultural waste are being harnessed to produce biofuels, biogas, and biochar. This shift allows farmers to turn waste into wealth by supplying biomass for decentralized energy systems, particularly in rural areas. As a result, the sector is opening new income streams for farmers while supporting local energy needs. Ultimately, agriculture’s role in clean energy generation is helping drive rural development and contribute to national climate goals.

Bio Trend Energy’s report titled ‘Assessment of Biomass Demand-Supply Value Chain and Entrepreneurship Development for Pellet Production in Selected Districts’, published by the Skill Council for Green Jobs, offers strategic insights into biomass utilization and rural enterprise development.

Bio Trend Energy’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a 1.2 MW grid-connected power generation facility using biomass gasification technology, proposed at the industrial area of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, presents a comprehensive plan to harness locally available biomass for clean and decentralized energy production. The report outlines the technical feasibility, economic viability, and environmental benefits of the project, positioning it as a replicable model for sustainable industrial development in resource-rich but energy-deficit regions
